MIAC lands four on Academic All-District hoops teams

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Four basketball student-athletes from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) have been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District teams for men's and women's basketball.

Three of the five women's basketball honorees from District 6 (Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin) hail from the MIAC including Bethel senior Abby Miller, Saint Benedict senior Chesley Guetter and St. Thomas junior Hannah Spaulding. On the men's side, Saint John's junior David Stokman earned his second consecutive All-District honor.

First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be announced in March.
