BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Concordia safety Dallas Raftevold has been selected to D3football.com's Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, for his performance during Week 2 of the 2017 season.

Raftevold (Sr. | Fargo, N.D. | Fargo South) had a career day against Wisconsin-Whitewater, registering a personal-high 15 tackles to go along with an interception, forced fumble and fumble recovery in Concordia's 25-17 win over the Warhawks. The MIAC Defensive Player of the Week made his presence felt all over the field on Saturday, but never more significantly than on his second quarter takeaway to preserve the Cobbers' lead. Immediately following a Concordia fumble on its own 26-yard line, the senior defensive back out-jumped a Whitewater receiver in the back corner of the end zone to secure an interception and the Cobbers' momentum.

This is the 19th season that D3football.com has selected the Team of the Week, which recognizes the top individual performance nationally at each position from the previous week.
