BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The undefeated Augsburg University men's hockey team is ranked as high as third in the nation this week, as USCHO.com and D3hockey.com released their top-15 polls on Monday.

The Auggies (6-0, 2-0) opened up their slate of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) games over the weekend with a two-game sweep of Bethel. Augsburg is one of just three teams to remain unbeaten and untied through the first three weeks of the season and has scored at least three goals in every game this year.

Augsburg is now ranked No. 3 in the nation – receiving one first-place vote – in the latest USCHO.com Top 15, and No. 8 in the D3hockey.com Poll.

Fellow MIAC teams Saint John's and St. Thomas are also receiving votes in both polls.
