BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Athlete of the Week award winners for men's and women's swimming and diving and indoor track and field on Tuesday. Student-athletes from Augsburg, Hamline, Macalester, Saint Benedict, Saint Mary's and St. Thomas claimed the Conference's weekly honors for Jan. 30-Feb. 5, 2018.
The MIAC Athlete of the Week awards are nominated and selected by the Conference's sports information directors. Throughout the winter season, team sports (basketball, hockey) Athletes of the Week will be recognized on Monday afternoons, with individual sports (swimming and diving, indoor track and field) announced on Tuesday afternoons. The winners of the latest Athlete of the Week awards are listed below, along with details on their outstanding performances.

MIAC Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week
University of St. Thomas
Park Ridge, Ill. | Maine South
Andrew Grabowski broke his own school record for one-meter diving (six dives), as he scored 312.37 for first-place at the Conference Invite hosted by St. Thomas over the weekend. The senior diver also won the three-meter with a score of 335.55.

College of Saint Benedict
Brooklyn Park, Minn. | Park Center
Sydney Dugas claimed the first three wins of her collegiate career at the UST Conference Invite over the weekend, finishing the 50-yard breaststroke in 33.11, the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:12.48, and clocking in at 1:06.26 in the 100-yard individual medley, good for the third-fastest time in school history.
MIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Brooklyn Park, Minn. | Champlin Park
Emmanuel Egbujor won the men's 60-meter dash at Bethel's Gene Glader Classic with a 6.94-second sprint – the fastest time by a MIAC sprinter this season and tied for the eighth-fastest time in all of NCAA Division III in 2018.
MIAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Prior Lake, Minn.
Eric Dols claimed a pair of first-place finishes at the Hamster Invitational last weekend, winning the weight throw with a distance of 59-8 ¼ and the shot put with the throw of 52-6. Dols currently ranks 10th nationally in the weight throw and 11th in the nation in the shot put.
MIAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Prairie Village, Kan. | Shawnee Mission East
Phoebe Aguiar won the 600-meters at the Hamster Invitational by clocking a MIAC-leading time of 1:38.40. That score is nearly a full second faster than the next best time in the Conference and ranks fourth all-time at Macalester.
MIAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Saint Mary's University
Albert Lea, Minn.
Becca Dup came away with a trio of first-place finishes at the Luther Alumni Meet last weekend, clocking in at 7.57 in the 55-meter dash while leaping 11.74 meters in the triple jump and 5.40 meters in the long jump. Dup's triple jump distance broke her own school record and represents the fourth-best jump in NCAA Division III this season.
