BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) has announced its championship dates, hosts and venues for the 2018-19 athletics season.

The MIAC hosted championships at several new sites last year and will return to many of those same venues this season. Women's golfers will head back to Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn. at the end of September for the 2018 MIAC Women's Golf Championships and men's golfers will tee off at the Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Minn. the following weekend. The MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships will once again return to the University of Minnesota's Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center - this time in an expanded four-day, Thursday-Sunday format in mid-February, while CHS Field will host the MIAC Baseball Championships for a second consecutive year in May.

MIAC schools will also play host for several Conference Championships, including Cross Country and Indoor Track and Field at St. Olaf College and Outdoor Track & Field at the University of St. Thomas. High-seeds will host the team-sport playoffs of Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey and Tennis, while the top overall seed will host the entire Softball Playoffs. The Playoff Championship games for men's and women's basketball will also now both be played on Saturday, February 23, moving those tournaments to a Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday format.
