BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – It was "Selection Monday" for the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Soccer and Volleyball Championships and the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) came away very well-represented in the brackets.

The MIAC's three automatic qualifiers – Gustavus Adolphus volleyball, St. Thomas women's soccer, and Carleton men's soccer – all punched their tickets to the "Big Dance" this past Saturday by winning each of their respective MIAC Playoff tournaments. On Monday, those teams learned their NCAA opponents, while six other MIAC programs received the good news that their seasons would continue as well. Augsburg, Saint Benedict, and St. Thomas each received at-large bids to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, while the men's soccer teams from Augsburg, Gustavus, and St. Thomas landed spots in the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament.
