MIAC 2005 Football Coaches Preseason Poll

St. Paul, Minn. -- The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced today its 2005 Football Coaches Preseason Poll. Saint John's edged out reigning MIAC champion Concordia for the top spot in this season's poll. The Johnnies and the Cobbers were the only teams receiving first-place votes. They were followed by Bethel, St. Thomas and rounding out the top five was St. Olaf. Football non-conference action begins this Saturday, September 3 with MIAC conference games beginning Saturday, September 17.
