BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- A trio of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) football teams are ranked among the nation's top 10 teams in the D3football.com Preseason Top 25 Poll, released on Thursday.
Defending MIAC champion Saint John's is ranked No. 3 in the nation, behind top-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor and No. 2 Mount Union. St. Thomas is No. 7 in the poll, followed by Bethel at No. 10.
The 2019 football season officially begins on Thursday, September 5 with Hamline hosting Buena Vista in non-conference action. The MIAC slate of the schedule gets underway on Saturday, September 21 with four conference matchups on the docket.
