KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The two-time defending Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) men's soccer champion University of St. Thomas is ranked No. 6 in the nation in the first United Soccer Coaches rankings of 2018, released on Tuesday.

The Tommies won their second straight MIAC title last season after posting a 10-0 record in Conference play before reaching the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament. Head coach Jon Lowery's 2017 squad scored a program-record 56 goals en route to a 22-2 finish overall.

UST enters 2018 with a 17-game home winning streak.
