BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gustavus Adolphus College will once again be the top seed in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) men's tennis playoffs after winning its unprecedented 31st consecutive regular season crown over the weekend.

The No. 16-ranked Gusties - who have not lost to a conference opponent in 313 straight regular season matches dating back to April 1986 - claimed the program's 52nd overall MIAC crown, along with home-court advantage and a bye to the semifinals. Carleton locked up the two-seed with its victory over Saint John's on Sunday. The Johnnies came out on top of a three-way tie with Macalester and Bethel by virtue of total match victories against the Royals and Scots. SJU will be the No. 3 seed, followed by Macalester at No. 4 and Bethel at No. 5.
