Seven Individuals, two relays earn All-American status

Terre Haute, Ind. -- Seven individuals and two relay teams from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) earned All-American honors at the 2009 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships last weekend March 13-14 in Terre Haute, Ind. at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

In the team standings, St. Thomas placed 15th with 12 points and Saint John's was 25th with eight points.

The 2009 Championships marked the 25th annual NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships. A total of 446 student-athletes from 134 colleges located in 27 states competed for national championship honors at the Sports and Recreation Center in Terre Haute. The Championships involved 15 men's and 15 women's individual title honors over the two days of competition.
