Gustavus Adolphus College senior Max Hanson (Buffalo, Minn.) won the 600 yard run at the Macalester Pre-MIAC Meet on Friday in St. Paul. Hanson's time of 1:12.35, sets a new Macalester fieldhouse record, ties the MIAC Indoor Championship record, and gives him the top time in the conference by over a second. Hanson also ran the anchor leg of the first-place Gustie 4x400 meter relay team.

Mike Hutton, St. Thomas

University of St. Thomas sophomore Mike Hutton (Apple Valley, Minn.) led the Tommie with two NCAA marks at the University of Minnesota Snowshoe Open. Hutton just missing an automatic qualifying time in the 800 meters on Friday night with a second-place finish just .10 seconds behind Minnesota's Travis Burkstrand. His time of 1:52.93 ranks third best thus far in Division III. Hutton later joined his teammates to better the NCAA provisional mark in the 4x400m relay which now ranks sixth in the country with 3:19.49 time.

Gustavus Adolphus College senior Max Hanson (Buffalo, Minn.) claimed a 2.5 second victory in the 800 meters with his time of 1:54.68 at Carleton's Meet of Hearts on Saturday. Hanson's time is the top in the conference and provisionally qualifies him for the NCAA Championships.

Joel Quick, Bethel

Bethel University senior Joel Quick (Johnston, Iowa) won the 200 meter dash in a personal best time of 22.57 and was part of the Bethel 4x400 meter relay team that broke a school record and provisionally qualified for nationals with a time of 3:20.97 at last weekend's Bethel Invitational. Quick was also the second fastest MIAC runner in the 55 meter dash, placing fourth overall in a time of 6.61.

Nick Ward, Augsburg

Augsburg College junior Nick Ward (Coon Rapids, Minn.) ran an NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark of 6.46 in his first race of the year in the 55 meter dash at UW-Stout's Warren Bowlus Open. Ward finished first out of 43 competitors in the event and his time is currently the top time in the MIAC. Ward also finished third in the long jump with a leap of 6.31.

Dan Greeno, Bethel

Bethel University senior Dan Greeno (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville) led from the gun to win the indoor mile run at the UW-Stout Open on Saturday with a time of 4:15.99. Greeno was mostly unchallenged in the race winning by six seconds. His time broke the school record and dipped just below the NCAA provisional mark.
