2001 MIAC Men's Cross Country Awards

Scott Jerome of Gustavus and Pete Wareham of St. Thomas were selected the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's and men's cross country coaches of the year respectively. Jerome's Gusties tied for second at the MIAC Championships October 27, seven points shy of first-place St. Olaf. Wareham's Tommies defended their title from last year and are currently ranked seventh in the nation. The MIAC schools vie for national qualifying spots at the NCAA Central Region meet in Grinnell, Iowa, Saturday, November 10.
