Bethel women’s basketball posts fourth-highest GPA in DIII

MINNEAPOLIS – The Bethel University women's basketball program was honored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) this week in the 2017-18 WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls release. The Royals ranked No. 4 among all NCAA Division III women's basketball programs, the highest finish in team history.

Jon Herbrechtsmeyer's squad posted a team grade-point average of 3.689 for the 2017-18 season. Emerson College led all Division III programs with a team GPA of 3.712 on the year.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2017-18 season is the 23rd in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
